It is generally not recommended to leave a 5-year-old Maltese alone at home for 8 hours. Maltese dogs are known for their attachment to their owners and can experience separation anxiety when left alone for long periods of time. This can lead to destructive behavior, excessive barking, or other stress-related issues. If you need to leave your Maltese alone for an extended period, it's important to provide them with a safe and comfortable environment, plenty of toys and mental stimulation, and consider hiring a pet sitter or dog walker to check in on them. **

No, it is not healthy to drink 5-8 liters of water per day. Drinking excessive amounts of water can lead to a condition called water intoxication, which can disrupt the balance of electrolytes in the body and lead to symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, headaches, and in severe cases, seizures and coma. The recommended daily intake of water for adults is around 2-3 liters, but individual needs can vary based on factors such as climate, physical activity, and overall health. It's important to listen to your body's signals and drink water when you are thirsty, rather than forcing yourself to drink excessive amounts. **

Germans don't have 5-8 children primarily due to cultural and economic factors. In Germany, there is a strong emphasis on career and education, which often leads to delayed childbearing and smaller family sizes. Additionally, the high cost of living and childcare, as well as the availability of family planning resources, contribute to the decision to have fewer children. Furthermore, the social norm in Germany is to have a smaller family size, and there is less societal pressure to have a large number of children. **
